At First Aid Academy, we understand sometimes things happen that are out of our control. We would like to stress the importance of communication to respect the effort we put into offering our educational services. Supplies and course preparation happens weeks prior to each and every course to ensure that everything arrives on time, supplies are cleaned and properly re-stocked.

 

In our efforts to continue to offer professional, interactive and fun courses,

we require notification should any issues arise.

 

We take pride in our work. Customer service is important to us!

 

Cancellation Policy for Private Certification Courses

 

1) To receive a refund for your private on-site certification course (excluding Blended Online courses - please see below**) where a flat rate was paid, you will be refunded the payment minus a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 7 business days notice. Should you need to reschedule due to any reason, a minimum of 7 business days is required. If rescheduling occurs with less than 7 business days notice, a $75 rescheduling fee will be charged.

 

2) No refund will be issued on individual payments for a private on-site certification course (excluding Blended Online courses - please see below**) should one or more participant(s) be unable to attend the course for any reason. You can transfer your course spot to another individual. 

**All Blended Online courses are NOT eligible for refunds. The online component is non-refundable once the course has been created and the emails have been sent out. 

 

No Show and Late Arrivals

 

No shows will not receive a refund. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will not be able to participate as full attendance is required to obtain the certification.

 

Participation and Certification

 

You will be tested and evaluated on your ability to perform the skills you have been taught. Should you be physically unable to do so, please inform you instructor to ensure options for you to successfully be awarded your certification.

Cancellation Policy for Private Non-Certification Classes

 

To receive a refund for your private non-certification class, you must provide a minimum of 7 business days notice. You will be refunded your course fee minus a $35 cancellation fee. Should you need to reschedule your class, a minimum of 7 business days notice is required.

 

Privacy Policy

 

At First Aid Academy, we understand the importance of maintaining our customers' privacy. We do not share personal information with others. The Canadian Red Cross has your contact information to ensure proper certification registration and they will not share your information with others.
